Temecula/ Murrieta feeling the heat!

Last sale was 20 months ago for over $1.2M. The owner put the home on the market for $999,000 in Jan and after recieveing a Notice of Default from the bank has since reduced this falling knife to $799,000.
I know Temecula and Murrieta are nice growing communities, but if I had $1.2 million to spend on a house I think I can come up with some more, lets say, desirable areas.....La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar......come to mind and guess what? They hold there values too.

Have you looked at Fallbrook lately? I think less than 10 homes over 4000sf have even sold there since the fires last year (assuming a then-normal 30-60day close). Almost everything in the larger sizes has been on the market forever with virtually none lowering their prices. For $400-500 per square foot, I'd rather be at the beach or a "better" address myself. Perhaps they are trying to wish the bad market away....

Wow! It was a fantastic house. If I could just afford to buy a house like this I would love to have this kind of property. Big thanks.

I can something like this can happen in the united states of america Yes it can We now live in a nation where the type of type of financial shenanigans occuring on a daily basis would only be thought of as happening in third world countries maybe south america. But now their happening here. I don"t believe that we are seeing so much of a big increase in the financial shenanigans today but less enforcment of violations of securities laws by the SEC. I can remember back in the nineteen eighities when almost two thirds of all the savings and loans were taken over by the FDIC the arm of the federal government that is suppose to regulate banks and other financial institutions. Their were thousands of persons charged with all sorts of crimes during and after the savings and loan debacle. I cannot believe that not anyone on wall street has been charged with any sort of crime whatsoever after the financial crisis of two thousand eight and two thousand nine that almost brought down the whole financial system.
